About the Project
Creative Problem
This project explores a potential marketing collaboration between the Toronto Raptors and Roots, celebrating the Raptors' 30th anniversary. The goal of the campaign was to create and combine nostalgia, fashion, and fan engagement, showcasing retro-marketing-inspired products. This project highlights how sports and lifestyle brands can work together to create connections with their audience while celebrarting Canadain Culture
A key creative challenge was the quick turnaround required to develop the campaign while ensuring it resonated with our target market. Additionally, we wanted to select a collaboration that authetically combines Canadian Culture, sports and fashion/
Solution
To address this challenge, we focused on carefully planning the collaboration from the start. We focused on creating visuals that would appeal to long-time Raptors fans through nostalgia while keeping it trendy for our younger audience. This approach allowed us to meet the quick turnaround and create a video that connected fans of all ages.

For this campaign, I focused on the paperwork, creating an introduction for the collaboration as well as looking into why we choose the partnership between the Toronto Raptors and Roots
